while branden's dad and stepmom were in town, we took a little trip out to the statue of liberty. hugo LOVED running free. and i loved being able to let him. 
it was warmer than it has been in months...i am finally beginning to feel my soul thaw out. (phew!)
sticker books are the greatest invention known to the 2 year old.
that things saves me in the hardest of situations.
there she is. lady liberty. it gives me goosebumps every time.
this is still one of my favorite places in the city to go, no matter how crowded, it's an incredible sight.
it gives me a powerful sense of the history of new york and the brave people who came here.
