we took a tour of the american wing and it was absolutely stunning. the wing only reopened in january after a 3 year long renovation. i loved our tour guide-she was just so personable! (and it didn't hurt that she thought hugo was adorable). her enthusiasm and love for the art was infectious and we ended up spending over 2 hours on tour with her (it was only supposed to be an hour). i am hoping hugo got just a little smarter today. i know we did.
