labor day weekend epic

we kicked off branden's two weeks of vacation with 3 days of non-stop fun.  some dear friends of ours invited us up for a weekend at their parents home.  and it was a blast.  all the adults stayed up late every night laughing and playing games and the kids played hard together all day every day.  and i'm totally piling all the photos in one post because i just can't figure out how to split these photos up.  (and note that not all these photos were taken by me-a few of them were taken by my sweet friend naomi...who does a great recap of the weekend here and here)
this was the only picture i got with me and branden.  needless to say, i made up for it on our trip to bridgehampton (and then missed photos of the whole group-you win some, you lose some)

ladies got away for a few hours for shopping in new canaan (insisted upon by the men.  *sigh* lovely afternoon)

see all the photos after the jump...

supermom and her twin boys aren't they adorable?  so fun to have twin friends.

kiddos at the kids table at lunch.

playset out back.  i say that this is....Clyde. (we'll see if i'm right!)

chatting out back during the bbq (the food was divine-and all meals were cooked by the men.)

sweet baby james.  don't you want to just pick him up and squeeze him?  he's a charmer

afternoon walk down the lane on sunday after church
looping back in the lane
angel baby sullivan.

the girls

the playset and that incredible backyard.  it was on this trip that i began to think that 600 square feet might be a little small....
everyone helped in the kitchen.  it was a blast.
entertainment in the kitchen (andrew can juggle---what?!  we also learned he was the lead in his high school musical.  the secrets you find out when you vacation with friends....)

bbq'd corn.  like i said.  the food was good.  real good.

volleyball at night (such a blast-and yes.  that is me doing a high kick.  i'm not very limber..it's actually sad)

happy memorial day!

the full crew there on memorial day.  fun gals.

swing happy.

the spread.  seriously.  amazing.  and check out the adorable paper plates that was brought by lizzie.
eleanor loved our little baby etta.  and branden got some good bonding time with her.

okay.  that post was EPIC.  but don't you feel like you were there?  you would have been happy to be there.  really.
