it's christmas!

and we cut down our very first christmas tree with some friends the saturday after thanksgiving.  rented our usual 15 passenger van (we should have a frequent renter's club card or something).  and made our way out to connecticut to Jones Family Farm, 400 acres of beautiful farmland that harvests christmas trees in the winter, berries in the summer and pumpkins in the fall.  it was absolutely stunning.

it was AMAZING.  cold.  wintery.  christmasy.

hard at work.  yes.  that is a tiny tree.  fits perfect in the tiny apartment though!

it was just about the perfect day.
