this race was an absolute blast. i have never run in a race with only women and it ended up being such a neat experience. it was sidewalk to sidewalk of women racing for their health, racing for a friend, or just racing for fun. and it was an amazing feeling. maybe it was the estrogen? ha. this is one that i will definitely do again. not to mention how great it was to meet up with my fellow running buddies after.

| melissa is my running buddy-we've been running together since i started training for the marathon over two years ago. she was one of the first to figure out i was pregnant and ran with me through the whole thing. and now she is helping me come back! she's a champ. |
