my sister and her husband came to visit this last weekend sans kids.  and i cannot adequately explain what a wonderful weekend it was.  first-it's so special the love that aunts and uncles have for their neices and nephews.  it's special and it feels so good to know that someone loves your kids so much.  second-it was so fun to interact with my sister and her husband as adults.  i love having the kids around, but it was fun to spend time just talking without the distractions.  (i still missed the kids though..next time!)  third-i love my sister.  she is such a good friend and confidante and advice giver and listener.    sunday we started out with a picnic---the weather was gorgeous and the babies sunbathed. we ate and napped and enjoyed the relaxing time together.
