it's time for a celebration my friends!
it's 5 pm...and there's STILL a semblance of light outside.
SPRING IS COMING!
(note to all those in other parts of the world....over the last couple months I have been shocked...nay! horrified! at the fact that the hours of daylight in this northern part of the world is narrowed to a meager 10-3 schedule during the months of October, November December, and January [how is sunset at 3?! ridiculous!] ...so... the fact that i can almost still see the color of my shoes [dimly] at this time of day is a hearwarming and miraculous moment in these parts where the sun has so nary been present)
I love you blog and I love that you don't wait for major events to post. The small things that make us happy are the best to blog about.
ReplyDeleteyou say that now... just you wait until it gets light at 4:30 in the morning come spring. We had a skylight in our bedroom that was difficult to cover. So we woke up with the sun. Lovely.

I know the feeling! It wasn't quite as bad in MA, but the sun is known to go down around 4 there. bleh.
