the impossible

I am going to do the impossible. I am going to admit that I have been tagged .... Maybe it just has to do with the fact I like writing about B more than myself.

So now you can find out all about my E.C. (aka eternal companion).

1. What is his name? Branden Carl Berns.

2. Who eats more? Definitely Branden. He is constantly surprising my family with how much he eats. He will eat seconds or thirds, and then finish everyone else's plate as well. It's incredible.

3. Who said I love you first? Branden did. I think he regretted it a couple hours later and then was happy about it the next couple hours after that. It continued in that pattern for at least another week. It was a big deal for him.

4. Who is taller? He is. He's 6'1", I'm 5'8".

5. Who is smarter? Well... I think we're about the same. Either way, we both love learning and discussing things so much that even if we didn't start out the same intelligence, we are about the same now.

6. Who is more sensitive? Me. I'm the weenie.

7.Who does the laundry? We're about the same. He used to do it more when we had to carry it to the laundry room but now that the laundry room is in the house I do it more.

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do.

9. Who pays the bills? Whomever bought the item. He keeps track of our lives though so if it's a monthly bill, he does it.

10. Who cooks more? I do. He makes mid-meals because he can't always wait for the real meal. Plus, he needs extra food.

11. What meals do you cook together? all of them. We work across the street from one another so we do lunch every day. We eat breakfast together and we come home together and eat dinner together. We are almost the same person. ha.

12. Who is more stubborn? me.

13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? He is. He's willing to admit he is wrong even if he thinks I'm wrong, just for the sake of keeping the peace.

14. Who has more siblings? Me. I have 3, he has 2.

15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? We're pretty equal. He is old-fashioned and likes to make the decisions for our family, but in the end he usually gives in if I feel strongly about something.

16. What do you like to do together? We read (while cuddling of course!), hike, golf, tennis, work-out, make food, nap (I nap, he reads), play catch, canoodle.

17. Who eats more sweets? I do by 1 thousand times. I am pancake kind of girl and he's sausage and eggs kind of guy.

18. Guilty pleasures? oreos and milk, the Mariners

19. How did you meet? We met at a Mitt Romney campaign event. We both were volunteers blowing up balloons. I left to go on a date before he could ask for my number. We ran into each other again in the library and he asked for my number. We went on a date the next day and we were both smitten on and off for the next few weeks until we both decided that we would try for the long haul. I'm glad he stuck through my silly commitment issues.

20. Who asked who out first? He did. Rock climbing and golf cart ride. We have Matt and Noelle (CONGRATS you two!) to thank for the occurrence of that amazing first date.

21. Who kissed who first? He did. He might deny it though.

22. Who proposed? He did. It was an awful night due to some bad pizza (I cried over the pizza), traffic, and AC failure but ended up being the best night ever.

23. His best features? He is tall, dark, and handsome. good smile, cute nose, the part where the backs of his legs meet up with his body :) and how his shoulders make a triangle with his hips.

24. What is his greatest quality? His patience with me. He never fails to point out my good qualities, even when I'm being snooty. He has a sense of humor that is clever and just makes me laugh.
